For years, very little has been done to ensure that companies were growing responsibly without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Over the last 10 years, the focus of most Governments and large Corporates has shifted and the need for environmental, social and economic sustainability has become a priority.

Investors have become increasingly interested in companies’ sustainability policies using ESG criteria to decide whether to invest in a business or not; whilst most large corporates have developed CSR objectives.

In the coming years, there will be an increased demand for professionals able to support companies through the changes required by a sustainable business practice.
